well you should be able to get it at any art store really, i got mine in a set of 60 prisma colors, there really awesome. i haven’t check if you can by the black or any color separate but i know you will get one in a pack for sure.

??? I object, I watched the japanese movie earlier this week, it was pure awsomeness, and I’m a new fan. no way it is mostly targeted to old fans.

Well, maybe I’m speaking through the eyes of an experienced fan, in that I recognized all the throwbacks, both playful and ominous, to the original series. The first half of the movie simply jumped from one event to the next too fast – without much narrative coherence. I saw it in a theater with other people, and I really don’t feel like the film really stands on its own all that effectively, particularly to non-anime fans.

The reactions of the non-fans in the theater, and the few reviews it’s gotten from mainstream American press outlets, seem to support that notion. But, I’d be curious to see how many people really get into the movies without prior knowledge of the series. Maybe I’m wrong.
